Fattoria Didattica - Istituto del Sacro Cuore - Firenze

Fattoria Didattica means a "Learning Farm." In Italy they have these farms, usually not attached to a school... usually they are separate entities where schools go in groups/classes to learn about nature (like the zoo only a farm instead), farming and animals in general. Almost every school takes there kids to one of these...the Isituto del Sacro Cuore di Firenze now has their own and doesn't need to take out their kids to a public/private one somewhere else.

Michelangelo Tel 055 6811872 Fax 055 6811388 L'Istituto del Sacro Cuore fu fondato a Parigi nel 1800 da Santa Maddalena Sofia Barat. Gli studi di quell'epoca offrivano un'ottima cultura generale basata sugli studi artistico-letterari, linguistici e storico-filosofici. Il tempo e il cambiamento dei costumi dell'epoca, favorì la necessità di ottenere il riconoscimento dei titoli di studio da parte dello Stato, nacquero così la scuola media e il ginnasio-liceo, legalmente riconosciuti, dal 1939. Oggi la proposta formativa si è arricchita anche della scuola materna ed elementare. Dal 1974 il ginnasio-liceo è divenuto un liceo sperimentale con indirizzi: classico, scientifico e linguistico con la possibilità quindi di sostenere l'esame di Stato conclusivo nei tre indirizzi. L'evoluzione dei tempi e delle scuole di studio non ha mutato i principi cristiani che da sempre hanno contraddistinto l'attività dell'Istituto fondato su tre realtà strettamente collegate: istruzione, educazione, fine soprannaturale della persona umana.
